B#6839: XCP: sometimes channels not updating following connect.
B#6832: KMS Tuner / GW crash reports - failure to open comms log can terminate application during connect, possibly due to virus scanner locking the log file. It will now retry for 1s before giving up and reporting the error to the user.

Extended A2L formula evaluator added features: Basic string handling: string literals, string concatenation, string comparison. Keyword: ecu_string('name') to find EcuString type objects in ECU definition. Functions: string, trim, ceil, floor, upper_case, lower_case. Intention is to enable use of strings for conditional loading / logic in EDX files, e.g. to use 'cal name' object for linking EDX files to specific calibration files. EDX files are now loaded from multiple external locations in the following order: '%PROGRAMDATA%\\\EDX %APPDATA%\\\EDX' Updated search wildcards for EDX files to match on both .*edx and also *..*edx to allow for multiple EDX files for the same ECU name, e.g. for different ECU versions.
Additional EDX search paths may now be added in application folder settings.
